  • Other Iran philatelic sites.
  • PersiaPhila. Maintained by IPSC member and dealer Mehrdad Sadri. The site contains an exihibition gallery and information on forgeries and reprints, and the foundation of the postal system of Iran. The site also contains information on price lists, books and literature, and expertizing and certification services.
  • Rainer's Persia Pages. Maintained by IPSC member Rainer Fuchs and, so far, focused primarily on Lion and Mashhad issues. The site also has a discussion forum but this does not seem to be regularly maintained.
  • Stamps and Postcards Of IRAN. Maintained by Hosein Araghchi, a stamps and postcard collector and a Trader from Iran.
  • www.ArmenStamp.com. Maintained by Armen Youssefi, dealing mainly in the stamps of the Islamic Republic.
  • Calendar conversion sites.
  • Khayam, A Persian Calendar Program. Converts both ways between Iranian solar (Shamsi) and Gregorian calendars. This conversian utility uses pick lists that require the user to know Shamsi months by their modern names. Fortunately, the months are arranged in chronological order so users should be able to puzzle out the result even if not familar with the month names. This utility has not yet been tested for accuracy by the IPSC.
  • Calendar Zone. Site has a very large number of resources on calendars of all kinds.
  • Perpetual Calendar, a Helpful Tool to Postal Historians. Site (part of Toke Norby's Personal Page) has a lot of very useful information concerning conversian between Julian and Gregorian calendars in variuyos postal jurisdictions.
  • Major catalogs. None of these sites have much useful information regarding catalog matters except how to order the various published products.
  • Michel. This page in English. Also with collector and commercial bourses.
  • Scott.
  • Stanley Gibbons. Also with postbid auction.
  • Yvert & Tellier.
  • Technical website resources.
  • Scan Tips, a resource with a lot of advice on how to get the most out of your scanner.
